Tandoor Ovens

Traditionally made out of clay, tandoor ovens are used throughout Asia for cooking and baking. Larger tandoors are commonly used by restaurants, and the high cooking temperatures help to impart the smoky flavours present on flatbreads and grilled meats, such as chicken tikka.

Household tandoori ovens are now also available for use in a domestic setting. This includes electric tandoor ovens and mini charcoal tandoors for your stove-top.
